Welcome!

I am a theoretical physicist based at the University of Stuttgart, in the south-west of Germany. This is my personal website. As for most physicists, my job is my calling — so this website is rather physics-heavy.
You can also visit my website at the institute.
Research
Currently I am interested in the following topics:
- Tailored strongly interacting quantum matter
- Entanglement transitions in monitored quantum circuits
- Topological quantum error correction and quantum computation
- Topological states of matter
For details, see the list of my publications.
A non-technical
summary of my doctoral thesis can be found here.
Teaching
Teaching is a cornerstone of science — and the part of my job I
enjoy the most.
An overview of my lectures and tutorials can be found on the
teaching page.
